Dear journalists...

I stand corrected on one thing. Back in one of my earlier posts, I actually applauded the local media for trying to be more objective for this GE.

However, we have seen over the last couple of days a 100% about turn in the PAP controlled media.
It's back to the days of gutter journalism.
Stories are published to further the agenda of just one party. And yes, that also includes you too- Channel News Asia.

What is the role of journalists? I quote from Wikipedia:
.....and they are often expected to report in the most objective and unbiased way to serve the public good.

Singapore main stream media, you have failed your duty to provide objective and unbiased reports. You don't serve the public good by spreading untruth and distorting the words of the opposition.
But thanks to social media, your influence over voters is not what it was.

Case in point: "Is he SDP's loose cannon"- from the New Paper.

I was there at Woodlands Stadium and Dr Chee behaved like an absolute gentlemen.
That is all...
